This explains how to log in to Accounting Start and how to resolve login issues.
- Go to the Sage Accounting page.
Select Login, then Accounting Start.
Enter your email address and password.
Select Log in.
Fix log in issues
If you're having trouble logging in, try these solutions:

Clear your browser cache and cookies. For information on how to clear your cache and cookies from our recommended browsers, select the appropriate link below:
If you've forgotten your password or want to change it, just reset it from the login screen.
From the Log in screen, select Forgot Password?
Enter the email address you use to log in. We then send you an email containing a link to reset your password.
Use the link in the email to open the Reset your password screen. Enter and confirm your new password, then select Submit.
Log in using your new password.
To resolve this issue, go to https://app.sageone.com and log in with the credentials that you set the account up with.
If you can log in successfully, we recommend you bookmark this page for future reference.
If you are unable to log in and continue to get an authentication error, use the link at the end of this article to start a chat session.
If you've entered the wrong details several times, or are logging in from an unknown location, we may temporarily block your account until we confirm it's you. This is a security measure to help prevent unauthorised access to your account.
We'll send you an email containing a link to verify you have access to that email address. Use the link to unblock your account and log in again.
Note: If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it by following the steps in the Forgot your password? section.
For security reasons, when you create your account, we’ll email you a verification code. Enter the verification code, then select Continue.
If you didn't get the verification email, select the Didn't get a code? Resend code link.
If you still haven't received the email, it could be because:
- It hasn’t reached your inbox yet. Emails can take up to 20 minutes to arrive.
- It’s been automatically moved from your inbox. Check your deleted items, spam and junk folders.
- You may have used the wrong email address, or made a spelling mistake.
