Delete a client, contact or prospect

After reading this topic you'll know:

  • How to delete a client, contact or prospect.

  • The difference between a client, a contact, and a prospect.

  • Some additional information regarding subscriptions and deleting clients.

Delete a client

Deleting a client removes it from your client folder as well as permanently deleting their associated data.

If the client has any active subscriptions, or you have a connected subscription, that must be cancelled before you can delete the client.

  1. Select the client you want to delete in your client list.

  2. From the Client actions menu, select Delete client.

  3. Select the checkbox to confirm the deletion.

Note: If this is the last client in the folder, Client Management will also delete the client folder and any contacts from that folder.

  4. Select Delete.

GDPR deletion

Under GDPR, you can request for us to permanently delete all of a client’s related data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

Delete a contact

Deleting a contact permanently deletes their associated data.

If the contact has a relationship with a client, that relationship link will be removed.

  1. Select the contact you want to delete in your contact list.

  2. Select Delete contact.

  3. Select the checkbox to confirm the deletion.

  4. Select Delete.

Delete a prospect

Deleting a prospect permanently deletes their associated data.

If the prospect has a relationship with a client, that relationship link will be removed.

  1. Select the prospect you want to delete in your prospect list.

  2. Select Delete prospect.

  3. Select the checkbox to confirm the deletion.

  4. Select Delete.
