Cancel your Sage service

When you pay for your service, you pay for your full subscription service period. This subscription is renewed on your subscription renewal date. You can view this date by clicking Settings and then Your Subscriptions.

If you decide you no longer want to use your service, you can cancel it or delete your account. If you choose to cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to your data through the subscription end date. After that date, your account will be locked and you will not be able to access your data until a new subscription is purchased. 90 days after the subscription end date, Sage may permanently delete your account.

Before you cancel your account, we recommend that you print any information you might need first. For example, your balance sheet, profit and loss and trial balance, as you can’t access this information once we cancel your account.

To cancel your account

  1. On the main toolbar, hover over your business name and then click Manage Business.
  2. Click Subscriptions & Invoices, and then Manage My Subscription.
  3. Click Manage Subscription, and then Cancel Subscription.
  4. Click Other Cancellation Options, and then Cancel Subscription.

To delete your account

If you’d rather delete your account, contact us by email at [email protected]. We’ll send you an email with further instructions to complete the account deletion request. Once we’ve received the reply, we’ll delete your account within two business days and email you a confirmation.

If you have more than one registered account for the same email address, both will be deleted. If you only want to delete one account, you can do so from the Your Subscription section.
